Upgraded with a 1.8 GHz Intel Core i7-8565U quad-core processor, the seventh-generation Black Paint 14″ ThinkPad X1 Carbon Laptop from Lenovo is designed for on-the-go professionals who need a secure and portable system. For smooth multitasking, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM that operates at 2133 MHz. To keep your files safe and secure, this laptop has a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Opal2 Solid State Drive.

With a 14″ Full HD 1920 x 1080 Low Power IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel that’s powered by an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 chipset, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon outputs crisp and clear content with vivid colors and wide viewing angles. If you wish to extend or duplicate your ThinkPad’s display, you can do so with its HDMI 1.4 port. Additional connectivity can be accessed through the ThinkPad’s dual 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 ports over USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, which support DisplayPort and 10 Gb/s data transfer. There’s also dual USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of which supports always on charging.

Other integrated features include a 720p webcam, a Dolby Atmos speaker system, four 360° far-field microphones, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, a backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Bluetooth 5.0. To ensure your data is protected, the X1 Carbon is equipped with a fingerprint reader, TPM (Trusted Platform Module), and a Kensington lock slot. Keep the ThinkPad X1 Carbon charged with the included 65W USB Type-C power adapter. The operating system installed is Windows 10 Pro.

Thunderbolt 3

Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously.
